On May 13th, 1935 Universal pictures released Werewolf Of London

I'm a day late to post this... Deadlines...

Werewolf of London was the first American mainstream #werewolf movie and was done 6 years before the Lon Chaney jr classic Wolfman movie. Jack Pierce did the makeup for both movies and went on to do make-up for Frankenstein and Bride Of Frankenstein, Son Of Frankenstein, The Mummy, Dracula, White Zombie, and the weirdest of them all The Black Cat (you need to see it if you haven't)!!

Originally a gig poster for the Lacuna Coil, Chiodos, and Of Mice and Men SXSW showcase back in 2013. I was just starting out on the anatomical style and still trying to figure out how that all works. You're welcome - biters...

I was also working at a larger size (11x17) than I do now (8.5x11).
